De un vistazo
EURCV is the euro stablecoin issued by SG-FORGE, the regulated crypto-asset subsidiary of Société Générale — one of France's four globally systemically important banks (G-SIB). It became MiCA-compliant on 1 July 2024 under an ACPR Electronic Money Institution license, after launching originally in April 2023 with a whitelist-only model. Reserves of approximately €106M sit segregated at Société Générale itself, with composition disclosed daily on sgforge.com. Live on Ethereum, Solana, XRP Ledger, and Stellar. Market cap grew +200% YoY in 2026 after SWIFT integration and Bpifrance adoption.
Italian and EU treasury teams that need bank-issued euro digital cash, institutional users who value G-SIB counterparty over fintech (Circle) or offshore (Tether) issuers, and settlement workflows touching SWIFT (integrated January 2026) or French public finance (Bpifrance).
You need deep DeFi liquidity today (EURC has 3-4x more across Aave/Curve, and Aave V3 does not list EURCV). You're a small retail user wanting 1:1 direct redemption — that's institutional-only via SG-FORGE; retail goes via Bitpanda or Bullish. You need broad CEX availability beyond Bitpanda and Bullish.
