Transferring crypto assets from one crypto exchange to another can seem overwhelming if you have little to no experience/knowledge of the crypto market. There are certain factors to consider when sending digital assets such as the right blockchain network, wallet address, etc. to ensure your funds are not lost.
In this guide, we will show you how to send your crypto on Digital Surge to the BTCC platform correctly.
What is BTCC?
BTCC is a crypto exchange that allows users to participate in leveraged futures trading. The platform was founded in 2011 and is licensed in Lithuania, the United States, and Canada. Currently, the futures trading platform hosts more than 2.8 million users from supported countries.
Why Send Crypto to BTCC Exchange from Digital Surge?
Sending crypto to BTCC unlocks access to several amazing features available on the exchange for Australian investors such as support for over 200 cryptocurrencies for deposits (convertible to USDT on BTCC), the ability to trade tokenized futures (stocks and commodities like silver and gold) and a 10,055 USDT new user reward for fresh traders.
Founded in 2011, BTCC is one of the longest-serving crypto exchanges in the crypto world. Despite being around for over a decade, the exchange has never suffered a security breach. This makes the exchange one of the best options for traders concerned about the security of their crypto assets.
Crypto exchanges are often the target of hacking and malicious attacks, it is, therefore, best to carefully examine the security of an exchange before moving your crypto to it. BTCC exchange has excelled at security for over a decade and this is due to several robust security measures in place.
Available security measures include segregated 1:1 storage of users’ funds away from company funds, the use of a multi-signature cold storage wallet, SSL encryption of all its network and data as well as two-factor authentication amongst others.
Beyond its excellent security features, BTCC exchange also enables users to trade futures with up to 250x leverage on BTC, ETH, DOGE, SOL, AND XRP as well as offers over 300 cryptocurrencies with up to 50x leverage.
BTCC offers negative balance protection, copy trading, exciting VIP benefits like low trading fees (transaction fees go as low as 0.01%), and exciting campaigns to earn rewards.
How To Open a BTCC Exchange Account
To open a BTCC account go to the BTCC website and click on the Register button.
On the registration page, you’ll have the option to sign up via your email address or mobile number (we will use this method). However, you can also open an account using third-party methods including your Google account, Apple ID, Metamask wallet address, and Facebook account.
Enter your email address, create a password, and click on the Register Now button.
If you have a referral code you can add it in the respective field.
BTCC will send a verification code to your registered email address.
You will need to copy and enter the verification code on the page that opened up after you clicked the Register Now button.
That’s it! You’ve created a BTCC account.
How to Transfer Crypto from Digital Surge Exchange to BTCC?
Sending crypto from Digital Surge to BTCC for Australian users is quite straightforward. If you do not have any crypto you’ll need to buy it with fiat currency (AUD) via your bank account debit/credit card on Digital Surge.
Step 1
Go to your BTCC account and log in. Next, tap on the Deposit button in the upper right corner of your screen.
Step 2
A pop-up will show after you click on Deposit. Next, click on Crypto Deposit.
Step 3
On the new page that opens, choose the cryptocurrency you want to send out of Digital Surge, which in our case is XRP. In the screenshot below, BTCC states that both the wallet address and destination tag are required for a successful transaction. So you need to add both in their relevant fields on Digital Surge as we will soon see.
Step 4
Log into your Digital Surge account. On the homepage tap the Wallets button beside Dashboard.
Step 5
On the new page that opens click on the Trade dropdown menu beside the particular cryptocurrency that you want to send to the BTCC exchange. In our example, we’re sending out XRP so click on the Trade button beside it and hit Send. If you don’t see your preferred crypto on the list, you can use the search option to find it.
Step 6
A pop-up will appear requesting important details you must input for the transfer to happen. The details you would need to enter include the Wallet Address you’re sending to.
To do that, go to the BTCC platform and copy the deposit address (shown in the next step).
You may also need to enter a Memo/Tag if the receiving wallet address requires it. Leave that field blank if it isn’t required.
Lastly, you’ll need to enter the amount to send by selecting one of the percentage buttons and inputting the AUD value or cryptocurrency amount.
Step 7
Paste the Deposit Address and Destination Tag from BTCC in their respective fields on Digital Surge. A new pop-up will show asking you to Confirm and Send. Tap Confirm and your crypto from Digital Surge will be on its way to your BTCC XRP account. Note that, Digital Surge will send a code to your authenticator app, as well as, a confirmation message to your email. So you need to confirm them to conclude the transfer.
That’s it! Your XRP should appear in your BTCC wallet. You will have to cover the network fees, which means you may receive an amount that’s lower than what was sent out.
To see your deposited funds, click Assets twice.
Next, click on Wallet and then select the crypto you deposited (XRP in this case) to see your deposit.
Conclusion
Depositing crypto from Digital Surge to the BTCC exchange is easy, fast, and secure. The entire process can be completed within a couple of minutes. Once the funds arrive in your BTCC account you can tap into the crypto futures market and take advantage of its large selection of derivatives contracts. Hopefully, by following the steps in this article you were able to send your crypto from Digital Surge to BTCC.
